My heart is to teach the next generation the basics of cooking and maintaining a home. My motto is- If I can do it, you can too! This past summer, while home from college, my oldest son was determined to learn how to make chaya (Indian tea). Last night, I sat on the edge of my daughter's bed as she was getting ready to sleep. Now that she's older, bedtime stories have transitioned from silly made-up adventures to deeper real-life conversations. Stressors at school, teachers, and relationships are just a few of the topics we chat about in the dark. Sometimes we giggle, and other times, I just listen as she vents. Making the Most of Our time
My husband, Lance, and I are alike in some ways, but opposite in more ways. My word for the year 2022 was contend. And contend I did. I am thankful that I was hearing God enough at the beginning of the year to know what was coming, because there were definitely times during the year that I did not hear His voice at all. The One Thing
