Are there co-workers or people that you are around that seem to know what buttons to push? Comments they make or ideas they come up with just seem to get under your skin and seem to fire you up.

What about with our politically charged environment now? You would have to have your television unplugged and be off social media completely to avoid the negativity that we have surrounding us daily. You pretty much would have to be avoiding people in general to not hear disturbing comments about our current or potential leaders.

I listened to a segment on the radio that addressed this issue yesterday, and it really spoke to me. The deejay mentioned how even believers can get caught up in the negativity, and that we should be careful. She stated a Bible verse that I love, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)

Regardless of our political affiliation or personal beliefs, God created each one of us for a purpose…even the people you don’t agree with.

The Bible also says that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

I came across this beautiful quote that may speak to you, too, as we move through a difficult season as a country. We can truly be agents of change and positivity if we love even the most difficult people.

“It is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict, God’s job to judge and my job to love.” – Billy Graham
