You live life differently when you know you are loved.

We all know Daniel from the Bible – and if you’ve seen one too many Veggie Tales like I have, you may be picturing a cucumber right now but that is not the case.

Daniel was a solid guy with solid faith but even he grew weary at times. With all of the visions/revelations he was having along with everything that was going on with his people, he was burdened.

So, Daniel prayed (as Daniel often did) and received a message from an angel:

At the beginning of your pleas for mercy a word went out, and I have come to tell it to you, for YOU ARE GREATLY LOVED. Daniel 9:23

Imagine that…above all else, that was the first thing this angel, who was on direct assignment from God, said.

When I walk into a room and my husband is there, I may not know anyone else but I know him…and more than that – I know I am loved by him. That changes how I feel in that space.

How much more so with our Heavenly Father. And the fact is my husband is not going to be in every room I walk into but my God is.  That changes everything.

Ephesians 3:18-19 “…may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
