• I was at the end of training for my career when I felt the urgency to move forward in pursuing a relationship with the hope of getting married.  To be honest, at that point in my life, the timing seemed late to me. But not to God. This season brought moments of discouragement, tears, and questions.

  • My husband and I just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary this past week. I’ll be honest, after so many years, it’s easy to take each other for granted. No major crisis…just going through the motions of life and tag teaming through each day’s demands. In the blog titled, “Four Conversations which can change your Marriage,”

  • A friend sent my husband and I this song several months ago when we were in desperate need of a miracle. God used the song to not only change the atmosphere around me, but to also change the fear filled thoughts within me. The lyrics reminded me of God’s control in the midst of uncertainty.

  • My parents and I never had the “social media” talk. We didn’t need to. It wasn’t around back then. But it’s here now (and it seems like it’s here to stay in some form or another) which means it’s time to have “that talk.” A few weeks ago I shared a blog by Kristen Welch

And instead of sending the people home like I would have done (can anyone say- Bye Felicia!) Jesus suggested they all eat dinner together. All five thousand of them. It gets better…Jesus

  • At a recent meeting, our leader, Anitha, asked us about big dreams.  It made me think about my future….and my past. Can I share a entry from my prayer journal 16 years ago (first time I’ve ever shared these!)?  I had a dream that seemed unattainable: “Lord, sometimes it makes me fearful of my passion

  • I have goals, you most likely have goals, and the Israelites had a goal. We all long to reach a Promised Land. In Numbers 33:51-53, God gives strict orders to the Israelites concerning their goal. ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan, SET UP A HAMMOCK, AND RELAX IN THE SUN, for you have finally
