One of the biggest lies that we can believe is that God does not love us.

From the beginning, in the garden of Eden, the devil tried to drive a wedge between man and God.

When Adam and Eve sinned by doing the one thing God asked them to not do, they hid from God.  And in their shame they sewed fig leaves to cover their nakedness. But it wasn’t because God had asked them to.

Yet, they condemned themselves and turned away from God because of what they believed God felt about them.

I know I find myself far from God at times, and it is usually because of the what I believe about how God sees me.

Friends, do not listen the lie that God does not love you.  No sin or failure can keep you from His love.  He is the God who would leave the ninety nine just to find you.  You are His beloved, and He loves you no matter what.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
