I was determined. It wasn’t going to happen again.
The last time I went through airport security, I mistakenly left a bottle of water in my purse. The security scanners caught it and I was asked to step to the side. I then went behind the curtain for a more thorough search while my family waited up ahead. When I rejoined them, my husband just smiled and shook his head.
So like I said, I was determined. That wasn’t going to happen again.
Last week, I was getting ready to board a flight back home. I double checked my bags. No bottled waters, no perfumes, no lotions, no liquids over 3.4 ounces. With my head held high, I confidently walked through the airport security scanner.
The agent looked shocked. “Oh my, Could you please step to the side.” She showed me her monitor. The gray striped shirt I was wearing clearly lit up her screen.
- In Psalm 17:3 we read, “You probe my heart…you examine me at night and test me.”
- In Jeremiah 17:10, God tells us, “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind.”
- 1 Chronicles 28:9 states, “For the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the heart.”
- #1- My husband has TSA precheck, I need it too.
- #2- It doesn’t take much, in the natural and in the supernatural to slow us down and keep us from going where we need to go.
