Your struggle is not against flesh and blood.

Yes, I’m talking to you. 

If it weighs you down. If it causes anxiety in your heart. If you’re losing sleep over it. 

It’s not about flesh & blood. 

If it causes division. If it’s tearing apart your church, your family or you. 

It’s not about flesh and blood. 

Ephesians 6:12 tells us “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” 

Tony Evans says it this way. “If what you see is all you see, you do not see all there is to be seen.”

There is an enemy at work. He wants to divide us. He wants to overwhelm us. He wants to make us think, ‘It is what it is and there’s nothing I can do to change things.’

That same enemy is a liar. That’s one of his nicknames. He is the father of lies. Don’t believe a word He says. 

Believe what God says. Believe that He has come to give you life. Abundant life. 

So what do we do? 

We Pray. 

All week long, God has been reminding me of one simple truth. 

He hears me.

Every word of every prayer I pray. He hears.  And He will work & war on my behalf. 

He will do the same for you.
