As International Women’s Day is commemorated today, it only seems fitting to celebrate the women of Whispers & Fringes.
Without a doubt, we are grateful for our founder Anu and the vision she has to empower women on a quest for more of God in their lives. Her obedience to the Lord has continually propelled us out of our comfort zone and it just an exhilarating ride!
God, in His mercy, has helped our team to be leaders who work alongside each other. We hear each other’s thoughts and opinions and prayerfully make decisions together. While it’s not always quick or easy, the power of agreement has been amazing with our sole desire to glorify God and be impactful for His Kingdom.
Additionally, we are sisters in Christ who encourage one another. Ain’t nobody got time for competition or comparison, am I right? We celebrate each other and what God is doing in each of our lives. But we also recognize that we are a work in progress. So we continually look to each other for constructive feedback to be the best version of who God created us to be.
Most importantly, we are friends who share joys and divide sorrows. Whether it’s celebrating a milestone birthday or needing a meal in a time of illness, we support one another and pray for each other. What a gift from the Lord!
But I’m not done yet. Dear Friends, there’s YOU, our community. I am beyond words to describe how we have been inspired by each of you. Between your comments on our blog posts, the thoughts you share during our Bible studies, and our guest writers and teachers, we are all just thrilled to see the gifts that God has within you come to the light.
Ladies, we weren’t placed on earth at this time by chance or coincidence.
The Lord has a specific purpose and a plan for each of your lives for such a time as this, just like Esther.
Do you know how I know? Because you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You a pearl of great price (Matthew 13:46).
So we celebrate every woman today! Know that you are seen and loved by the Father. “… you are very precious to God.” (Daniel 10:19)
