The “enemy” comes at us in many different ways. Fear, dread, anxiety, depression, opposition.
I know we’re only two months into 2019, but I’ve already experienced days in which the enemy is a little too close for comfort.
But God.
Numbers 10:9 “When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies.”
The verse above and the song below have become my anthem for 2019. I may not own a trumpet to “sound a blast,” but I do have a mouth to sing His praises and “raise a Hallelujah.”
If the enemy feels a little too close for comfort, I encourage you to do the same. Raise a Hallelujah.
I love this song and the powerful story behind the song! I pray it encourages you as well.
“I raise a Hallelujah…in the presence of my enemies. I raise a Hallelujah….Heaven comes to fight for me.”
